Parametric Knitting

These properties depend on a combination of structural geometry of the fabric, yarn material and machine parameters thus defining the behaviour and performance of the resulting knitted structure. A reference model to modulate digital knit loops is found in domestic hand knitting devices. This craft technique is an accessible alternative to conventional hand and industrial needle knitting as it uses a frame with pegs to organize the loops and handle the fabric.
